Left back Moses Chavula and right back Elvis Kafoteka will not play due to injuries. Wisdom Ndhlovu and Jacob Ngwira will most likely replace the two. Defending midfielder Hellings Mwakasungula will not play because he is serving a one match suspension after accumulating two yellow cards. Davie Banda will most likely replace him.
Three South Africa based professionals who have played for the Flames before have also been included in the squad. The three are: Grant Lungu, Fischer Kondowe and Jimmy Zakazaka.
Here is the Ivory Coast Squad. Kolo Toure will not play because he sustained a heal injury when Man City and Aston Villa drew 1-1.
Guinea were supposed to host Burkina Faso this Sunday. The game will be played in Ghana because of the bloody unrest in Guinea. Even if Ivory Coast lose or draw in Malawi they will still clinch the World Cup spot this weekend if Burkina Faso lose or draw on Sunday. Since the Burkina Faso/Guinea game will be played in Ghana, Burkina Faso are favoured/favored to win. If Burkina Faso win and Malawi win then Malawi will likely make it to Angola because the Elephants will be so angry with the loss that they will vent the anger on Guinea on November 14. If wishes were horses…..
Have your say.
